Today, on 23rd September 2022, let’s raise our hands, donate blood and be healthy, along with the campaign, blood donation camp, free eye check-up camp and blood donor award ceremony were held in the auditorium of BLW Central Hospital.
The program was duly inaugurated with lamp lighting by Chief Guest President District Panchayat Varanasi Smt. Poonam Maurya and Special Guest Chief Chief Medical Officer Dr. Devesh Kumar. A total of 60 people donated blood through blood donation camp. After donating blood, all the blood donors were honored with saplings and cloth bags for environmental protection and a message was also given for environmental awareness. On this occasion Smt. Poonam Maurya, Dr. Devesh Kumar, Shri Ram Janam Choubey, Rajesh Kumar, Dharmendra Singh, BD Dubey gave important information on the subject of blood donation.
A large number of senior railway officers, doctors and railway personnel enthusiastically donated blood in the camp. Specially Smt. Sangeeta Prasad, Hari Kishore, Anil, Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Shivkant Tripathi, Satish Kumar, Rajeev Kumar Rai, Durgesh Nandan, Sachin Jain, Ashtabhuja Mishra, Jai Mukherjee etc. contributed significantly in the program. In the end, thanks were given by the founder of Rakt Mitra Parivar Foundation, Mr. Rakesh Prasad and the program was graced by Mrs. Arya Deepa Mishra.
