In the series of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" organized in Banaras Locomotive Works, Varanasi from August 01 to 14 to commemorate the completion of 75 years of India's independence, today, on August 06, Bal Niketan, operated by Railway Women's Welfare Organization Fancy dress competition was organized for the students of nursery to class 02 studying in the school and Rangoli competition for the students of class 03 to 05. The theme of the Fancy Dress and Rangoli Competition was dedicated to the freedom fighters under the guidance of President and General Manager of Women's Welfare Organization Ms. Anjali Goyal. With a patriotic spirit, children dressed up as the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi, Rani Laxmibai, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sarojini Naidu, Jawaharlal Nehru, etc. participated enthusiastically in the fancy dress competition and paid tribute through this medium.
Along with this, giving shape to the flight to their imagination, they displayed the spirit of patriotism through Rangoli, which was appreciated by all. Through this competition, the development of patriotism, loyalty and creativity, artistry was promoted in the children. The members of Railway Women's Welfare Organization including Secretary, Railway Women's Welfare Organization Mrs. Priya Raj, Principal Bal Niketan Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, Public Relations Officer Mr. Rajesh Kumar were mainly present in the program and all encouraged the children. The teachers of Bal Niketan had a special contribution in the program.
In the series of the next program, tomorrow, 07 August at 6 am, Prabhat Pheri has been organized from BLW Inter College to Cinema Club on skating with patriotic songs and slogans.
